Krusaders Reach the Final
Kentz Krusaders
Kentz Krusaders with some of their many fans
The recently-formed Kentz Krusaders team reached the final of the Clonmel Rugby Football Club Annual Summer Tag Rugby Competition. On Thursday 10th July the squad battled their way through the quarter and semi-finals to be one of the top two teams. This was a considerable achievement as there were 42 teams at the beginning of the competition.

In their quarter-final match the Krusaders were up against stiff competition. The speed of Mick Mulcahy, Niamh Moloney and Fergal Holohan and the undeniable tagging capabilities of Dave Nugent, Avril Prout and Morgan Ryan forced the game into extra time. As the team battled on they managed to gain the upper hand and eventually won the game by a convincing margin. The semi-final proved to be an even tougher mental game as the opposition were excellent taggers, which left the Krusaders thinking they were never going to break through the defence. With persistence, they eventually managed it and Kelly O'Shea got a 3-point try which put them ahead with seconds to go on the clock. Going into the final, spirits were extremely high and the team played their hearts out. Catriona Nugent and Neil Parnham had many great runs, which resulted in 1-point tries. Alas, victory was not on the cards for the Krusaders as they were pipped at the post by their opponents.Employees, family and children alike cheered on the team boisterously. The weather didn't seem to bother the supporters in the slightest, as they outlasted the wind and rain to be there to the end of the third and final match. The Krusaders would like to thank them for their continued support and hope it will be a similar sight next year.

All in the Clonmel office would like to congratulate the Kentz Krusaders team on their magnificent achievement in the competition. Next year, they will bring home the cup!

  Sharq Project Employees
Beach boys enjoying their time off!
On 6th April 2008 a handful of employees working on the Sharq Project in Saudi Arabia decided to take advantage of the spring weather. They took a well-deserved break after months of hard work and headed to the beach for some fun in the sun.

Mr. Louie Davag was the key initiator and organised a delicious barbecue on the beach with grilled fish, Sinigang, Kabsa, and sweet and sour Lapu Lapu. With everyone lending a hand in the cooking department, the day went smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Congratulations to all working on the Sharq project thus far Ð keep up the good work!
