Kentz RSA Employ Junior Graduate Engineers

Eight Junior Graduate Engineers were recruited in December 2006 and commenced employment with Kentz South Africa on 15th January 2007. Mentors have been selected.

All eight are very young and have joined us straight from university, with no site experience. They are all up for a challenge and are very eager to climb the Corporate ladder.

Some details about the Engineers:
Rapule Rasebopye is a Junior Electrical Engineer. He has joined the Electrical Estimating Department to gain experience and will be completing his degree in 2007;

Nokuthula Ndwandwe is a Junior Electrical Engineer. She has been transferred straight to Secunda to work on the Acid Plant (E&I);

Mpho Soaisa is a Junior Electrical Engineering Technician and was also transferred directly to Secunda to work on Octene III project;

Ayanda More is a Junior Mechanical Engineering Technician. She has been seconded to Mechanical Estimating at Head Office.

Carl van Wyk, Arno Cilliers, Jonathan Espache and Steven Erasmus are Junior Mechanical Engineers. Carl has already been exposed to M&P estimating and has recently been seconded to Moma Sands to obtain site experience. On completion of Moma he has been earmarked to go to Madagascar. Arno and Jonathan have been sent directly to Moma Sands site for their first taste of initiation. It appears that they are enjoying the experience and the challenges presented! Steven spent time with the M&P estimating team before being sent to Secunda to work on the Acid Plant (M&P).

We wish them all the best in their careers with us, and we are sure that they will get the support they need from all the employees at Kentz South Africa.

Cruise on Vaal Dam Lifts Kentz Spirits
Workshop Attendees
The Kentz Natref team in South Africa recently organised a team-build in preparation for their May Shutdown. The event was held on the SPIRIT OF JEN, a catamaran that cruises along the Vaal Dam.

The main purpose of the event was to integrate team members from the various sites across the country, build camaraderie and have a little fun. The new Junior Engineers and recruits were welcomed to the team and had the opportunity of meeting members of Senior Management.

The team build was a huge-success and a great time was had by all.
